The World Of Jazz is the brainchild of Dwight Brewster who has traveled the globe creating the Afro Caribbean Jazz sounds he heard growing up in the Bronx.  He learned his craft at the knee of his father Louis Milroy Brewster, who taught him piano starting at age ten    His father was   famous for quoting Duke Ellington.” It don’t mean a thing, if it ain’t got that swing.”  

Dwight credits his father for his knowledge of jazz music and for the appreciation for the total scope of the genre. This marriage of music and history provided the basis for The World of Jazz.
